ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE

We have a multitude of different opportunities across all our business units and locations. Opportunities range from Accountants, Auditors, Business Operations professionals, Business Planners, Cost and Cost/Schedule Analysts and Engineering Planners, to Financial Analysts and Proposal Analysts.

Financial Analysts
Cost Schedule Analysts

• Financial Analysts - work on capture opportunities; developing financial outlooks including B&P planning, long-range business plans and strategic financial capture strategies, leading in the development of Budgetary Estimates, Proposals and business case analyses including conducting Management Reviews and EPPs. They are responsible for developing and presenting cost and schedule reports to the program management team and implementing effective cost control measures for captured opportunities. Qualifications include familiarity with various financial systems including SAP, Hyperion, ProPricer, WBOE and Earned Value Management Systems/concepts. While most of our opportunities are in a standard office environment, some opportunities may put you on a production floor in a manufacturing environment.

• Cost Schedule Analysts - are involved in analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. They participate in the preparation of budgets and schedules for all contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks and variance analysis. They also ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding. They incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying knowledgeable of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Some of the earned value management systems/software used are Artemis, CostView and C/S Solutions WinSight.
