Here are some answers to the questions we are asked most frequently.
Q. What are some of the technologies you work with, develop and advance?
A. Our technological capability includes: advanced materials analysis, simulation, and modeling electro-optics communications environmental sciences guidance, navigation and control systems liquid propellants millimeter and microwave electronics software and processors space science instruments stealth technologies systems architecture and integration - and more.
Q. Where are you located?
A. We are in some of the most desirable metropolitan areas, as well as small towns in rural America. You will be surprised by how many choices you have in the U.S. and internationally. Our Locations section will provide you with more details.
Q. What steps must someone take when transitioning from college to Lockheed Martin?
A.. We have a corporate-wide New Employee Orientation program that eases new hires into the corporation and explains the many resources available to them to get off on the right foot. New employees will find that their managers, mentors and peers are all eager for them to come up to speed and will be very helpful in offering assistance and advice. Buddy programs, monthly reviews and New Hire Clubs are just a few of the site-specific programs in place to help new employees feel welcome.

Typically, we seek candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or PhD. with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 and above in their field of study.
Q. How many college students are you hiring this year?
A. We work to identify graduates and students to fill over 2,000 openings (full-time and intern/co-op opportunities) a year.
Q. Where should I send my resume?

Q. Can I apply to more than one job?
A. Yes, however, we suggest that you make sure to apply to positions that you feel match your skills, background and interests most closely. Doing so does not impact your chances of being hired for one position over another.
Q. Do you offer education assistance?
A. Yes. In addition, each of our individual business sites has specific training and development opportunities with some that support educational advancement for programs related to your expertise.
Q. Can I pursue a graduate degree?
A. Yes. All of our employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement for continuing and graduate education in a field related to the business. We encourage all of our employees to continue to learn and grow throughout their career.
