Join the Fighter Trainer Engineering Center in Akron, OH:

Providing training devices and systems for F-35, F-16, F-15 and numerous other high-performance aircraft.
Products span desk-top training aids to full-fidelity wide-area networked weapons systems trainers.
Multiple domestic and foreign programs.

We are seeking top-notch real-time simulation engineers with proven expertise in the following areas:

• Military aircraft design experience in avionics, weapons or sensors
• Flight simulator experience, either in engineering lab environments or cockpit training devices
• Expertise in C++ and UNIX/Linux

Openings in other areas include:

• Instructor stations using Visual C++ and/or OpenGL
• DIS/HLA for wide-area networks
• DoD Systems Security
• Project engineering

Specific opportunities include:

• Senior Embedded Software Engineers
You will be an F-35 Training Devices Vehicle Systems IPT team member responsible for the design, code/unit test, and integration of Navigation and Propulsion Systems real-time simulation software.

• Senior Staff Project Engineer
You will act as Deputy Manager for the UAE PTE program reporting to both the Chief Engineer and Program Manager.

• Embedded Software Engineers (Staff)
You will perform analysis, design, coding, test and integration for the conversion of avionics software to perform in simulation systems.

• Software Engineers
You will customize IOS and Scenario Generation for the F-16 program.

• Embedded Software Engineers
As a member of the Instructor Operator Station Product team, you will analyze requirements, design, code, test, and support software Instructor Systems products.

• Senior Software Development Analysts
In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and implementation of computer applications. This could include analyzing production, development, and test scenarios using Air Force Logistics functions including Asset Management, Life Cycle History, Item Management, Allowance Standards, and Decision support.
