Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS).
Partnership for Youth Success is a strategic partnership program between the Army and a cross-section of U.S. industries. It was developed to help the Army attract, train and deploy talented people who are interested in careers that involve communications, sales, electronics and computer services, logistics and construction. This progressive program offers soldiers the opportunity to gain job training and qualifications that are in demand by corporate America.
We are a participating company in PaYS
and actively look to hire program participants.
Program specifications.
Under the terms of the PaYS agreement, enlistees interested in gaining specific job training and qualifications receive that training while in the U.S. Army. As part of the enlistment process, recruits sign a letter of intent to work for a participating company, such as Lockheed Martin, when they complete their term of service. Near the end of their term, these soldiers have an opportunity to interview for a specific position. It's our way, as an employer-of-choice , of proactively paving the way for those who serve our country to more easily explore the private sector opportunities we offer.
